Roskilde is an attractive town reached by Copenhagen in about 25 minutes on the regional train. It has a couple of museums, including a reasonably well-known Viking Ship Museum, but we only had time to explore the cathedral ♥♥♥, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is brick-built and not too opulent, although the organ is something completely unreal. There are several chapels, the crypt, interesting altarpiece, and a separate museum.
