My stays in Glasgow have been very brief: an overnight stay that included a short walk around George Square ♥ as the only sightseeing, and a targeted visit to the one distillery in town (mentioned in the distilleries summary post). The town likely warrants more exploration than I was able to give it.

Mediterraneo ♥ Italian restaurant is on Ingram Street around the corner from George Square. Excellent pasta dishes, great selection, and friendly service. Last visit: Spring 2018.
McMonagles ♥ is technically not in Glasgow, but in Clydebank, one of its suburbs. We were the only customers at 9am on a Tuesday, but this boat-themed eatery is purportedly quite popular. Scottish breakfast is hard to mess up – an excellent choice for £6. Last visit: Spring 2018.
