Vacation Rentals by Owner – another good site to look for vacation accommodations.
Venere – many good hotels listed here.
Expedia – you can hardly not try this service whenever you are looking for travel deals.

Geni.com – for those inclined to chart their genealogy.
Golfshake.com – golfing community, which I primarily use to keep track of my scores.
